The city balances an abundance of outdoor recreation and open space with amenities, including one of the largest shopping malls in Colorado. This diverse city offers homes in exceptional master-planned communities such as RidgeGate on the east side of I-25. The mixed-use RidgeGate development contains village-like neighborhoods of contemporary single-family homes and townhouses alongside shops and offices. Other Lone Tree neighborhoods and communities offer gorgeous single-family homes in a wide range of styles.

The city of Lone Tree offers convenient access to Denver and a wide variety of local shops and restaurants. The city also boasts a wealth of outdoor recreation areas, and it is within around 30 minutes of many more activities at the iconic Red Rocks Park. RidgeGate is comprised of three residential villages and several mixed-use areas with shops, restaurants, and other amenities. RidgeGate features a total of 8,000 homes alongside several parks and plazas.

Park Meadows Mall is a major shopping center in Lone Tree, with close to 200 businesses. The mall features a wide variety of fashion brands and specialty stores, including anchor tenants Crate and Barrel, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Dillard’s, Macy’s, and Nordstrom. Dining options at Park Meadows Mall include seasonal New American dishes paired with excellent wines at Seasons 52.

Lone Tree offers a variety of other commercial areas, including the RidgeGate development’s Lincoln Commons shopping plaza. Restaurants and retailers at Lincoln Commons include Via Baci for delicious Neapolitan pizzas and other authentic Italian eats. Cranelli’s is another fine choice for Italian dining close to the intersection of I-25 and State Highway 470. This rustic family-run eatery prides itself on preparing delicious meals with fresh local ingredients. Sierra is an upscale dining destination serving Southern-influenced dishes in an elegant hilltop setting with mesmerizing views.

Things to Do

Lone Tree residents enjoy many community events throughout the year. The free Backyard Beats Concert Series brings live performances, food trucks, and special activities for kids during the summer.

Cook Creek Pool opens seasonally. This community recreation space features a lap pool with a diving board and a separate leisure pool with play structures and a 160-foot slide. Wag N’ Romp at Cook Creek pool is an annual celebration that even your four-legged family members can enjoy. This pup-friendly pool party features a doggie spa with free nail trims and professional grooming services.

Schweiger Ranch is a historic landmark that gives visitors a taste of agricultural life in the 19th century. Schweiger Ranch Fall Festival offers traditional agricultural activities, including a pumpkin patch and hayrides. There’s also live bluegrass music, storytelling, food trucks, and a petting zoo.

Bluffs Regional Park spans 235 acres and contains a trail system that provides captivating vistas of the Colorado Front Range mountains and the Denver metropolitan area. The Bluffs 8K Trail Run is a great way to take in the views. This summertime race is open to all ages and skill levels.
